Background International evidence shows that “peers can play an important role in contacting, informing and supporting their community members. They are an essential resource of information and support as they know the cultural setting, their community, its needs and its limitations, as well as the ways to address risk behaviours and promote healthier lifestyles ”[Wallerstein, WHO 2006]. Objectives To improve Peer Education (HIV & HCV) by:
a. identifying existing peer education strategies b. discussing existing practices during national debates c. developing and implementing a training manual Description of the work Stage 1: Data collection and inventory on existing methods and practices on peer support work Stage 2: Review, discuss and analyse. Stage 3: Writing and editing material
